Why do we blog?
I think I started blogging because I wanted to air my dirty laundry where (I thought at first) no one would see it. As time went, it grew to be therapeutic. It was where I vented and felt better.
Though years have gone past since I started blogging, I can say yes, I do vent once in a while, but the truth is that my blog has become a place of friendship. I've met a lot of awesome people over the years on the internet, and most of them through blogging. I've found encouragement, friendship, and inspiration. Like minded people who compatriots that cheer me on day to day, via comments, views, and tweets...via our shared love for Doctor Who, Jane Austen, writing, music, tea and so much more!
As it is Valentines week, I think I must wish you all a very happy cheery Valentines day, filled with bloggy love and chocolate, and Starbucks!!!
{because love cannot be complete without coffee...}

So glad I found your blog, its adorable I love it!
I love blogging too, there really can be such a commodary (is that how you spell that word?) amongst people on here!
I look forward to reading your blog more!
Love Gi xx
Hey Gi! Thanks for visiting! Yeah, I love finding like minded bloggers, and it is so cool to have a tool to literally be able to keep in constant contact with people all over the world on a deeper level than twitter, or facebook, in that we can really share our life stories, love, and laughter through our blogs!
DeleteAnd a happy Valentines to you too! I hope it's full of love for you, be it of the family, platonic or romantic variety. And self-love of course, we can't forget that.
ReplyDeleteYou're right about the connections we make through blogging; there are some seriously awesome, smart and funny ladies out there in the blogosphere.
Pathetic really, but I bought & downloaded the MP3 album of "All That Echoes" by Josh Groban, bought a fantastic book on Kindle, and purely intend to enjoy Thursday evening after work relaxing! :) I DO just love the people I've met through blogging! Someday -- I need to do one of those blogger meet things so I can meet you all! :)
DeleteNew follower via GFC! Love this, BTW. :D I have met so many friends blogging, it's amazing.

DeleteHi Little lady,
ReplyDeleteThank you for your most kind and lovely comment on my tiny internet home. Its not every day I get comments and yours made my day a little brighter. I love the idea of the purse/bag thing, its the little things that make characters relatable and more human than just words. Are you a writer ?
I'm so glad that my header is as inviting as I would imagine it to be. It took much too long to put together, but I suppose it was worth it.
As to your post above, I would never have expected to meet such like minded people. And was pleasantly surprised when I found so many friends, and it looks like I have found another one.
Blessings ~ Rachel Hope
:) Glad I could brighten your day Rachel! I did write a lot a few years back, and my favorite part was building the characters! I loved doing it and I hope to start writing again soon when I have a little more time/focus. Actually...considering doing it today as I have the evening off!
DeleteBlogging is awesome! It's so much fun (like I said above)because of all the awesome people you get to meet! :D Yay! I shall keep visiting back (though I am terribly forgetful) -- hope to see you around! :)
